Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated 2026-08-23

When you get your money back, and how to stop paying us.

Cancelling

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal.

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. An annual subscriber who cancels in month two keeps everything until month twelve. We do not cut a paid period short.

When the period ends, the account moves to the free plan. Your pages stay online. Anything that exceeds the free plan's limits stops being editable rather than being deleted — nothing you made is destroyed by cancelling.

Your right to change your mind

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract.

Because a subscription starts working the moment you pay, you are asked to agree that we begin immediately. Where you have agreed to that and the service has been supplied, the withdrawal right no longer applies — but see the refund below, which we offer anyway.

[CONFIRM: this paragraph describes the standard EU position. Have it checked before launch, and make sure the checkout wording actually asks for that consent.]

Refunds we give

Fourteen days, no questions. If you are within fourteen days of your first payment on a plan and it is not what you wanted, write to us and we will refund it in full.

If we charged you twice for the same thing, or charged you after you cancelled, we refund it in full as soon as we can, whenever it happened.

If the service was unavailable for a long stretch and you could not use what you paid for, write to us. We would rather sort it out than argue about it.

Refunds we do not usually give

Part-way through a period you have used. Cancelling keeps the service running to the end of that period instead.

Renewals you meant to cancel and did not, beyond fourteen days. Ask anyway — we read every message and we are reasonable about honest mistakes.

Accounts closed for breaking the terms.

How to ask

Email support@alexincodeland.xyz from the address on the account, and say what happened. We reply to every message.

Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe. Your bank usually takes between five and ten days to show it.

Prices

Prices are in euros. Any tax that applies is shown at checkout.

If we change the price of a plan, existing subscriptions keep what they are on until we tell you otherwise, and we will give you notice before anything you pay changes.
